
Pat and Vanna, I'd like to buy a vowel. The misspelled
world was seen on
Yahoo Canada's homepage yesterday morning. I clicked to the article and the headline was (and still is as I write this sentence) the same:

While it's definitely the most obvious one, it's not the only error in
the Yahoo! Canada Sports article. There's also a homophonic error:

Any writer who writes
dawn instead of
don - and doesn't even correct an editable headline error - should not be considered a professional writer. Oh wait, there's no name associated with the article, which mean there's no accountability. The errors shall remain! Click the images to enlarge them.
