I'm guessing it was so readers of the Vancouver edition will think it's a B.C. story. That's fine, if done correctly; but it was done very poorly and in this case resulted in misinformation.
Ottawa edition: Dupuis took part in a selling course offered through the Toronto Automobile Dealers Association and began working the sales floor on weekends at nearby Baywest Toyota in Owen Sound, Ont., which was also owned by her boss.
