Tom Cruise got distracted by a hoard of autograph-collecting fans; Is this source Eeore?

Is this writer for real? A true writer would know that hoard should be horde (spell check won't help you there), and would look up the correct spelling of Eeyore's name. My wife may write the writer a letter regarding the latter.

Amber Dowlilng

The name attached to this article raised my eyebrows. Some quick clicks to related pages confirmed that the second L should be removed.

do's and don'ts; cocunut water; Dos and Don't; Vegas message parlors

I wonder if cocunut water is tastier than coconut water. Anyway, the grammatically incorrect do's and don'ts on the homepage turns into the grammatically correct but situationally incorrect Dos and Don't in the article's headline. Dos and Don't would be correct if there were more than one Do and only one Don't, but there are several of both in the article. If you had a sore back, would you go to a message parlor or a massage parlor?

Elle McPherson

While Sympatico / MSN isn't worried about correctly spelling celebrities' names, the rest of the world knows her as Elle Macpherson.

Yashpal Mehay, 40, has been seen or heard from since July 14; Mehay has no history alcohol or drug abuse

As you can see, the article says Mehay "was last seen on July 14," but the photo caption contradicts that statement by awkwardly stating that Mehay "has been seen or heard from since July 14." I'd say that the word not should be between has and been. I'd also say that the final sentence in the image should read in part, Mehay has no history of alcohol or drug abuse.

Pedestians and cyclists

For the article, MSN News used the same photo and photo caption that were featured in a June 23 Detected Errors post. One word was changed, but it wasn't the incorrect pedestians.

Pedestians and cyclists

The Burrard Bridge sidewalks must be more crowded than I thought. I've crossed the bridge by foot, car and bike several dozens of times in my life, and I've only ever seen pedestrians and cyclists on the bridge's sidewalks. I've never seen any pedestians on the sidewalk. In fact, I don't even know what pedestians are. If they take up at least as much room as pedestrians then that makes the case for lane reallocation even stronger.

interal cabinet squabbling

The word interal is obviously a misspelling, but why is cabinet squabbling considered to be integral?

Its just a little slump; Cesar's Palace

It's just a minor apostrophe issue (in the article's headline!). I've seen the Las Vegas hotel Caesars Palace written incorrectly as Caesar's Palace plenty of times, but this is the first time I've seen it written as Cesar's Palace - and there's a headline that could use that erroneous apostrophe.

Shia LeBouef; Sasha Baron Cohen; Chris Isaack; Forrest Whitaker; Ana Faris

This writer is a one-person wrecking crew in the field of names. It appears the writer is confident they've got Shia's last name correct, evidenced by the exact same spelling on two different photos. Compare and contrast LeBouef and LaBeouf. Does male actor Sacha Baron Cohen look like female skater Sasha Cohen? Their names are similar, but I don't think they look alike. Then, back-to-back, we have Chris Isaak and Forest Whitaker receiving the careless-spelling treatment. Lastly (thankfully), the writer gets an F for leaving an N out of Anna's name.
