I think it's pathetic that professional writers can't spell police properly, and then can't be bothered to proofread - or even use a computer's spell check on - a short article. While some errors slip past a computer's spell check (who's/whose, for example), this one would have been caught. Spotted in today's "N.Zealand police sick of "emergency" calls" report" on Yahoo! Canada News.
