Women losses both hands and feet

-- Yahoo! Canada homepage on February 8, 2009

The hospital's error is horrifying, but was the writer trying to surpass the horror with their atrocious writing? The highlighted text on the right caught my eye and is bad enough, but at least it's closer to correct than the text that's brought up after clicking the link. For the record, the text should read, Woman loses both hands and feet after a hospital mistake.

Is this typical of Yahoo! Canada? Are errors as numerous and egregious as they are on Yahoo! US?

There are so many error on Yahoo! US every day, that I can't keep up with them. I report just a small sample on http://terriblywrite.wordpress.com

You find so many errors to post on your "small sample" blog, it'd be hard for the Canada version to keep up, though I'm sure they try. I haven't done much Yahoo! browsing and have posted only a handful of Canada-specific Yahoo! errors. See them by clicking the Yahoo Canada label under this post.

I've also added an update to this post.

At the end of the day we had made 36 care packages for homeless youth in the area and managed to clean up the vast majority of the park. I left feeling the accomplishment thesis writing of what we did for the community and was relived at how smoothly it had all gone.
