When I saw this on the Yahoo! Canada homepage yesterday I thought it had to be a pun. I figured there was no way anyone - not even a writer at Yahoo! - could commit this error. After reading the article's headline and first sentence, however, I realized the truth: Yahoo!'s writing is garbage. Also, the wording leaves something to be desired; so older adults with smaller waistlines are less likely to die? Like, ever?
