When's a plural not a plural?

24 hours Vancouver recently changed the format of their online newspapers and consequently made it very user-unfriendly. Therefore, though the errors in that newspaper continue, I won't be posting them as frequently as before (hence the increase in postings from CBC online). Here we have defenceman which should clearly be defencemen. Okay, maybe it's not so "clear" as it is tiny - nice improvement, 24 hours. From "Tweet spot" in 24 hours Vancouver on March 4, 2011.
