What's the point?
What's the point in having a spell check available on a computer if it's going to go unused? A spell check won't catch all errors, but it will catch misspellings that result in nonwords. You know, like when you write pionting when you meant to write pointing. From the photo caption for "B.C. business owner warns of Yellow Pages clone" on CBC News online on March 4, 2011.
