Mortage rules
If you're going to make an error in an article, the least you could do is keep it out of the headline - especially if it's a nonword. When I searched for mortage on dictionary.com, the first suggestion that came up was metage, which is "the official measurement of contents or weight". The word needed for the headline is mortgage.
