Ummm, no. The writer of "Ryan’s remarkable rise" in yesterday's 24 hours Vancouver is wrong. Ben Affleck directed and co-wrote the screenplay for Gone Baby Gone, but - unlike his brother Casey Affleck - he wasn't in it.
