The sports section of Vancouver 24 hours is brutal territory for the English language as spelling and grammatical errors are plentiful there. Hockey articles are often the worst culprits and this one is a good example as it contains two errors in a single sentence. A hyphen has been erroneously omitted from long-term contract and the contraction it's is supposed to be the possessive its.
