I can kind of overlook the extra word
the (from "
Law banning phone use ignored by many B.C. drivers" on CBC News online on August 24, 2011), but

writing
will instead of
while? That is a ridiculous error for a professional writer to make. Doesn't anyone at CBC proofread the articles before they're posted?

I didn't know it was legal to drive hands-free. I don't want to even think about what the driver is steering with.
Knees. Let's just go with knees. That sentence in the article has been updated to be more clear, in addition to fixing the will/while thing.
