Carrey tweets that Wood's wife had to know

Did any of you have any idea that Elijah Wood was married? Did you know that he cheated on his wife and that this was public knowledge? It has to be Elijah Wood - I can't think of any other well-known person with the last name of Wood. It must be a person whose first name doesn't need to be used in a headline on the Yahoo! Canada homepage yesterday. Or maybe Tiger's last name (it's Woods! Woods Woods Woods!) has been mistreated again. Click the image to enlarge it.

Tiger Woods return to pro golf

Maybe the writers at 24H Vancouver realized that they'd been making apostrophe placement mistakes with Tiger's last name (we've seen Wood's wife three times - uhh, in print that is), so they've decided to abandon the apostrophe altogether. C'mon 24H - there needs to be an apostrophe! Just put it after the S. This is from "EA's Tiger return" in today's paper.

This is from "Elin texted as Tiger, learned of affair, say sources" in today's 24H Vancouver. Once again, 24H Vancouver, his name is Tiger Woods, not Tiger Wood.

The headline has Tiger's last name correctly as Woods, yet the article - based on the apostrophe placement - has his last name as Wood. Interesting. For the record, his last name is Woods and I am not a mistress.
