The image above shows the poll question from yesterday's Vancouver 24 hours. Good enough. However when showing the poll's results, the first sentence was dropped.
The result is a nonsensical question requiring the reader to recall the full question from the day before - if they even saw it at all. Granted, the Canucks may have been the only local sports team at 0-2 (now they're 0-3!), but I still think dropping the first sentence is a mistake. Then there's this, yesterday's results from Friday's poll (not Sunday, as their "yesterday" implies):
Is it really that hard to match up the color of the majority poll result with the color of the larger piece of the pie? I understand that the poll section of the paper is very low priority and is an easy space-killer, but since it's in the paper at all, maybe a tad more care should be paid.
